Wenderson Rodrigues do Nascimento Galeno, commonly known as Galeno, was born on October 21, 1997, in Barra do Corda, Brazil. He is a professional footballer who plays as a winger for Al-Ahli in the Saudi Pro League and represents the Brazilian national team.
Galeno began his career at Trindade, where he scored five goals in ten appearances during the 2016 Campeonato Goiano, earning the Best Newcomer award. He later joined Grêmio Anápolis before moving to FC Porto’s B team on loan in 2016. During his time with Porto B, he scored 15 goals in 54 appearances, showcasing his potential.
After brief stints with Portimonense and Rio Ave, Galeno joined Braga in 2019, where he scored 12 goals in 74 appearances. In 2022, he returned to Porto, contributing 26 goals in 93 matches and winning two Primeira Liga titles. His performances in Portugal solidified his reputation as a dynamic winger with excellent dribbling and finishing skills.
