Kevin Christian Trapp, born on 8 July 1990, is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt, where he is the captain, and the Germany national team.

Trapp began his professional career at 1. FC Kaiserslautern, participating in two Bundesliga seasons. In 2012, he signed for Eintracht Frankfurt for a fee of €1.5 million and played regularly over three years, also competing in the UEFA Europa League. In 2015, he joined Paris Saint-Germain for an estimated €10 million, winning several domestic honours. In 2018, he re-joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan before signing permanently the next season.

Trapp earned 21 caps for Germany’s youth teams, including 11 for the under-21s, and made his full debut in June 2017. He was part of the squad that won the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and also competed at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 2020, and the 2022 World Cup.

Born in Merzig, West Germany, Trapp stands 1.89 meters (6 feet 2 inches) tall and plays as a goalkeeper. He began his youth career at FC Brotdorf, SSV Bachem, SV Mettlach, and 1. FC Kaiserslautern. His senior career includes 51 appearances for 1. FC Kaiserslautern II, 32 for 1. FC Kaiserslautern, 82 for Eintracht Frankfurt, 63 for Paris Saint-Germain, 33 for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, and 171 for Eintracht Frankfurt since 2019.

Trapp has represented Germany at various youth levels, including four appearances for the U18 team, six for the U19 team, and eleven for the U21 team. Since 2017, he has earned nine caps for the senior Germany national team. He was part of the Germany squad that won the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and finished third at the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
