Henry began his professional journey with AS Monaco in 1994, where he scored 20 goals in 105 appearances. His performances earned him a move to Juventus in 1999, but it was at Arsenal, under Arsène Wenger, that he truly flourished. Joining the Gunners later that year for £11 million, Henry became Arsenal’s all-time leading scorer with 228 goals in 377 appearances across all competitions. He won two Premier League titles and three FA Cups with the club, including the iconic “Invincibles” season in 2003-2004, when Arsenal went unbeaten in the league.

Henry’s individual accolades include four Premier League Golden Boots, two PFA Players’ Player of the Year awards, and three FWA Footballer of the Year honors. He was also named in the PFA Team of the Year six consecutive times and included in the FIFA 100 list of the world’s greatest living players.

In 2007, Henry moved to Barcelona, where he won a historic sextuple in 2009, including the UEFA Champions League and La Liga titles. He scored 35 goals in 80 appearances for the Catalan giants before joining the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2010. Henry scored 51 goals in 122 MLS matches and had a brief loan return to Arsenal in 2012.

On the international stage, Henry earned 123 caps and scored 51 goals for France, making him the nation’s all-time leading scorer until 2022. He was instrumental in France’s 1998 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000 triumphs.

Henry retired in 2014 and transitioned into coaching and punditry. His legacy as a footballing icon remains unmatched, inspiring generations of players worldwide.
