Gregor Kobel, born on December 6, 1997, in Zürich, Switzerland, is a professional goalkeeper celebrated for his reflexes, composure, and leadership. He currently plays for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga and represents the Swiss national team.
Kobel began his youth career at FC Seefeld Zürich and later joined Grasshopper Club Zürich before moving to TSG Hoffenheim in 2014. After loan spells at FC Augsburg and VfB Stuttgart, Kobel joined Stuttgart permanently in 2020, where he made 33 Bundesliga appearances in the 2020-2021 season.
In July 2021, Kobel transferred to Borussia Dortmund for a reported fee of €15 million.
